March 2008 Meeting Minutes

The meeting began with an Opening Prayer. There was a brief discussion and sharing of the Gospel.

Minutes of the February 26 meeting was accepted.

Update on the Youth Ministry
The event committee is planning a Game Night in early/mid May. Connie Stoeckel has offered to chair this event.

Update on ARISE
There is a core committee of eleven people.  There will be a Commission ceremony at the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, April 17. In September, there will be a Sign-up Sunday for small groups. 

Pastoral Planning Report for the Archdiocese of Boston
The first vicariate meeting was held with Fr. Jack Ahern. A committee was formed to plan a vicariate-wide meeting.

The meeting closed with a prayer.

Those in attendance were:  Mary Beth O’Sullivan, Father O’Brien, Carol DeSouza, Howard Lotis, Matt Coughlin, Julia Greene, John Salenius, Tricia Graeber, Norma Murphy, and Margaret Kinsella.

The next Parish Council meeting will be held on April 22, 2008
