Silk Family Coffee Cake

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
2 eggs
1/2 pint sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts


DIRECTIONS:
Mix together: the butter, eggs, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Then add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside with the nuts.
Grease and flour angel food pan. Spoon in half of cake mixture and sprinkle with half of sugar mixture and nuts. Spoon in remaining cake mixture. Sprinkle with rest of sugar mixture and nuts.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower temp. to 325 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Underbake slightly.
