Dear Parishioners,

During last weekend’s Masses a new sound system was demonstrated.  Your input was very helpful to me. The results of the survey appear below. The consensus of the responses was in favor of the new system.

In light of the survey I will be meeting with the technicians to discuss the fine-tuning and the purchase of the system.  This sound system will be purchased with funds from our “Memorial Fund Account”.

The Memorial Fund allows us to purchase items for the Church that we are not able to purchase with our weekly offertory collection.  Contributions to the Memorial Fund are received when a family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Parish in memory of a loved one.  Another source of income to the fund is received from wills.  Often bequests are made to our parish from people for whom Sacred Heart Parish was an integral part of their life.  These generous donations allow our parish to continue to improve our place of worship.
