Faith Formation

"The Church Exists to Evangelize." (National Directory for Catechesis, USCCB)

We welcome all of our children to participate in our program of religious education. Faith Formation for youth is divided into two programs: Grades K-8 and a two-year Confirmation program for grades 9 and 10. There are over 300 children in the program. Students in K-5 meet once a week during the school year. They have classes either on Wednesday afternoon at the parish, on Sunday morning in the lower church, or they are taught in a parish home.

The Junior High program for grades 6-8 meets every other Wednesday night for 1.5 hours. Students can either have classes at the parish or are taught in a home.

The Confirmation students in grades 9-10 meet from 6:15-7:30 pm on Sunday nights in the parish cafeteria.

If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then "Why Catholic?" is for you. Stay tuned here for more information on this upcoming series of small group opportunities to study, reflect and discuss our faith.
